Irving Penn, Twiggy and Jane Bown
Looking for somewhere to spend an hour right through to a whole day? Then pop on down to the National Portrait Gallery, just off of Trafalgar Square, where you’ll find the largest exhibition devoted to Penn’s portrait photography; Twiggy: A Life in Photographs, an exhibition of one of the most famous faces of the 60’s to the present day and a collection of Jane Bown’s work, which has appeared in many publications. Her portraits are almost exclusively shot in black and white and with natural light. Well worth a visit.

The Wine Box Series
An intriguing title for an exhibition of lith prints of seasonal flowers by American photographer Arthur Meehan.
Lith prints are an unusual printing technique that really needs to be seen up close to appreciate the delicate and unusual tones, so make the effort to pop along and something that little bit different.
